All of our mental health coaching and support programmes — including practical counselling alternatives — are co-led by both of us — Neil and Beth — giving you the benefit of two perspectives, skill sets, and lived experiences.


With a dynamic blend of emotional insight, practical tools, and real-world understanding, we create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to change their lives.


We’re a coaching duo and life partners who bring a unique blend of personal experience, professional expertise, and practical guidance to help you navigate life’s challenges. Together, we’re not just mental health coaches or a counselling service; we’re relationship mentors, confidence-builders, and guides for anyone looking to regain clarity, calm, and control.


With a dynamic mix of emotional insight, practical tools, and real-world understanding, we create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to change their lives. We know what it’s like to face anxiety, grief, burnout, low confidence, and relationship struggles — and we know how to move through it. That lived understanding is what makes our coaching so effective. It’s not theory. It’s real.


Our partnership as a couple also gives us a unique perspective on relationships. We work with individuals, parents, and couples, helping people navigate communication challenges, emotional boundaries, and family dynamics. Together, we show how strong collaboration, empathy, and practical strategies can transform personal and family relationships.


Neil leads our one-to-one coaching and support programmes, bringing his specialist knowledge in how the mind works and his unique ability to connect with both adults and young people. Whether you’re joining a group or working privately, you’ll always be in expert hands.

🌟Meet Neil – Coach, Parent, and Mental Health Guide

Some people say I was born to support others — and they might be right. Helping people understand themselves, manage anxiety, and rebuild confidence has always been at the core of everything I do.


Over the years, I’ve guided countless friends, family, young people, and parents through anxiety, grief, addiction, low confidence, and relationship challenges. Helping people regain clarity and calm isn’t just my work — it’s who I am.


Life has given me my own challenges too. I lost both of my parents, including my Mum at a young age, and I’ve navigated difficult, controlling relationships in the past. These experiences taught me resilience, the importance of emotional support, and how to set healthy boundaries — lessons I now pass on to everyone I coach for mental health and personal wellbeing.


As a parent to a teenager and a young adult, I’ve seen firsthand the pressures young people face today — from social anxiety and self-doubt to the struggle of simply trying to belong. Supporting my own children sparked a deep calling to help others build confidence, emotional balance, and real-world coping skills.


But my work isn’t only with young people. I work closely with adults facing the same challenges — anxiety, burnout, loss, and relationship strain — helping them rebuild stability, strength, and self-belief. I also coach parents who want to support their children’s emotional wellbeing while managing their own mental load.


My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. I don’t believe in sitting still and just talking — I believe in doing. Together, we build tools that work in the real world: managing overthinking, easing self-criticism, rebuilding confidence, and finding calm under pressure. I focus on real-life tools for confidence, emotional wellbeing, and healthy relationships. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can rewrite their story, regain control, and thrive.

Before founding The Antidote, I spent years leading a large team in a fast-paced environment — guiding individuals through professional and personal challenges. It taught me a lot about people, resilience, and the power of self-belief.


I know what it’s like to struggle with anxiety and self-esteem challenges, and I also know what it’s like to come out the other side. That experience fuels my passion for helping others build the self-trust, confidence, and inner calm they deserve through practical and supportive coaching.


My approach combines empathy and structure — I’ll listen deeply, but I’ll also challenge you to take action. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low confidence, or just feeling stuck, I’ll help you move forward with clarity and compassion.


At my core, I believe every person has the strength to change their story. Sometimes, they just need the right support and a little belief to get started.
