Our expert-led coaching programmes are designed to help you move from anxious and unsure to confident, connected, and in control. Whether you're looking to overcome social anxiety, build self-esteem, or improve your social presence, we guide you step-by-step through powerful, proven techniques that truly transform.
Here’s what we’ll work on together…
Gain clarity on what’s really going on beneath the surface. We break down the science of social anxiety and confidence, helping you recognise and reframe the mental patterns that have been holding you back.
Learn practical tools to quiet the noise in your head. We’ll show you how to reduce self-doubt and take control of spiralling thoughts — so you can feel calm and grounded in any social situation.
This isn’t surface-level pep talks. We help you develop lasting self-respect, inner belief, and the ability to show up unapologetically as yourself — both in private and public.
Your words matter — and so does how you say them. Learn how to express yourself clearly and confidently, use body language that feels natural, and speak up in conversations with ease.
Connection is at the heart of what we do. You’ll practise forming genuine relationships live within our supportive group sessions — building friendships while learning how to connect more deeply with others in your everyday life.
📱 We’ll guide you through simple, effective meditation and mindfulness techniques that reduce anxiety, promote self-awareness, and help you reset your nervous system — so you feel more in control, no matter what life throws your way
In our groups, across each week, we guide you through extensive group activities, practical confidence-building exercises, and proven techniques to manage social anxiety. You’ll be fully supported every step of the way through our structured programme, working alongside others who share your goals.
On the fifth day of an in person group, we take things a step further with an empowering trip out in the local area — a real-world opportunity to put your new skills into practice, connect with others, and celebrate your progress in a safe, encouraging environment.
Each group gets its own optional group WhatsApp chat, where participants can ask questions, give feedback, and continue conversations outside sessions. This encourages social interaction in a safe space and helps build ongoing friendships within the group.
Because connection matters — especially if you're struggling with social anxiety.
Our in person group support programmes are a safe space to share, grow, and learn alongside others. You’ll build confidence by connecting, with people who genuinely understand what you’re going through.
Group coaching is one of the most powerful tools for overcoming social anxiety and building real, lasting confidence. Instead of facing your challenges alone, you’ll be surrounded by people who get it — others on the same journey, working through similar struggles.
In our live group sessions, you’ll not only practise forming real friendships in a safe, supportive environment — you’ll also experience the incredible boost that comes from helping others grow.
As you support others, you naturally strengthen your own confidence, empathy, and communication skills. There’s something deeply empowering about realising you’re not alone — and that your voice, your progress, and your presence can genuinely impact someone else’s life for the better. It’s connection with purpose — and it’s a game changer.
Our in person coaching support programmes are available in Oxford and London. We offer groups for adults and young adults aged 14-17. We try our best to tailor our groups to include people around the same ages, however that cannot be guaranteed. Each programme is extensive, running over 6 weeks with 2 hour weekly sessions, giving participants the time to build confidence and make real progress. We also offer optional WhatsApp social chats outside of sessions.
We highly recommend meeting in person — there’s something powerful about being in the room together — but our online group sessions are just as welcoming and impactful for those of us unable to travel.
Our support programme is intentionally designed to be experienced with others — because working on personal challenges together creates connection, accountability, and real transformation. And if you’re dealing with social anxiety, building those connections in a safe, supportive space can be one of the most powerful steps forward.
We highly recommend meeting in person — there’s something powerful about being in the room together — but our online group sessions are just as welcoming and impactful for those of us unable to travel.
Prefer more personal support? We offer tailored one to one coaching sessions online, focused entirely on your journey and goals. In addition to our transformative group programmes, we offer personalised one-to-one coaching for those who prefer a more tailored approach. These private sessions are ideal if you want to work through specific challenges at your own pace, with full focus and support from an experienced coach.
Struggling to support your child or teen through anxiety, confidence, or social struggles? We offer specialist coaching for parents — practical, empathetic guidance built from real experience. We specialise in helping parents understand and support children or teens. Whether you’re seeking change for yourself or your family, our individual coaching options provide a safe, judgment-free space to grow, gain clarity, and take action that truly makes a difference.
Neil brings extensive parenting experience, having navigated challenges such as social anxiety, autism, and shyness with his own children. This personal journey, combined with his professional expertise, enables him to offer practical, empathetic guidance to parents seeking to improve their family dynamics.
Common reasons parents seek support include managing stress and anxiety, improving communication with children, and addressing behavioural challenges. For instance, balancing work and family life can be overwhelming, and therapy can help parents manage stress effectively and improve emotional wellbeing . Additionally, fostering better communication with children ensures both parents and children feel heard and understood.
At The Antidote, we offer tailored support to help parents navigate these challenges, fostering stronger family relationships and a more harmonious home environment.
All of our support groups are co-led by both of us, giving you the benefit of two different perspectives, skillsets, and lived experiences. With a dynamic blend of emotional insight, practical tools, and real-world understanding, we create a powerful and supportive space for growth.
Neil leads our one-to-one online coaching and parenting support programmes, bringing his specialist knowledge in how the mind works and his unique ability to connect with both adults and young people. Whether you’re joining a group or working privately, you’ll always be in expert hands.
Together, we bring a wealth of life experience, empathy, and practical tools to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered — whether you're looking for personal coaching, parenting support, or simply someone to walk alongside you for a while.

Unlike many services where you might simply talk about your problems, The Antidote offers a structured, results-driven and trackable programme. Our approach is extensive — a 6 week course with 2 hour weekly sessions — giving you the time, space, and guidance to make real, lasting changes.
Two coaches, double the insight – both of us bring a wealth of life experience and complementary skills.
Full support programme – not just “a chat” but practical, hands-on strategies to make lasting changes.
Group environment – you’ll learn alongside others, practising confidence and social skills in real time, with the added benefit of making new friendships and connecting in a supportive environment. No other service we can see offers this.
Better than courses - While there are some one-off courses aimed at tackling social anxiety or boosting confidence, these typically consist of just a single session. In contrast, The Antidote runs a full programme over six weeks, allowing participants to gradually build skills, practice in real-world situations, and receive ongoing support. Spreading the course over time means people can develop confidence steadily, form lasting connections within the group, and embed what they’ve learned into their daily lives
WhatsApp social chat – each group gets it's own optional WhatsApp chat, where participants can ask questions, give feedback, and continue conversations outside sessions. This encourages social interaction in a safe space and helps build ongoing friendships within the group.
Real-world application (in person groups) – we include a day out together on the final day to put your new skills into action.
It’s not just sitting in a circle talking about problems — we focus on practical exercises, real-life situations, and confidence-building activities. And on the last day, we go out as a group so you can put everything into practice in the real world.
Our one-to-one sessions are just as beneficial, because they draw directly on our lived experiences and the tailored advice we can offer. Everything we do in one-to-one aligns with our support programme, so you’re still getting that same structured, results-focused approach.
We warmly welcome individuals with mild autism, social communication challenges, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. Our venues are wheelchair accessible, and our sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and gently structured to help everyone feel safe and involved.
We do ask that participants are able to take part in group conversations, follow simple instructions, and engage independently without the need for full time one-to-one or mobility support during the session. If you have a physical disability, you’ll need to be able to manage your own movement around the venue, including during group activities.
If you're unsure whether this programme is the right fit, feel free to get in touch — we're happy to talk it through and guide you toward the best support for your needs.
